This two-day convening will bring together a cross-disciplinary group of thought leaders and practitioners for a critical discussion about the adequacy and impact of the Oversight Board and other platform accountability models.

The first day will feature closed-door roundtables and workshops examining the realities of content moderation at scale. The conversations will allow for an assessment of the Oversight Board’s successes and failures and whether efforts should focus on scaling the Board’s model or building alternatives.  Other sessions will allow participants to discuss broader issues at the intersections of content governance, democracy, and artificial intelligence.

On the second day, we will open the doors to the public and select press for live mock deliberations, panels reflecting on the Oversight Board’s first three years, and conversations focused on the future of content governance. Attendees will be able to join in-person at Harvard Law School and virtually via a livestream posted here. (Recordings are now available on the “Information for Public Session” page.)

We look forward to seeing you soon!
