The Institute for Rebooting Social Media (RSM) at Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society (BKC) seeks a program manager to join the team.
The program manager will be responsible for leading the Institute’s day-to-day functions, including the RSM Visiting Scholars program, a year-long interdisciplinary program for visiting faculty to pursue research, publish publicly-facing outputs, and host convenings on a variety of topics related to social media and networked communication in collaboration with each other and the BKC network. Working closely with Institute leadership, the program manager will help to foster and drive RSM’s thematic workstreams, identifying synergies across the existing community and external partners to drive outputs on a range of topics. The program manager will also be expected to organize and facilitate a slate of events and talks on Institute-related topics, including the RSM Speaker Series.
As a part of the broader BKC team, the program manager will be an active member of the community, seeking opportunities to collaborate with the Applied Social Media Lab (ASML) and the BKC network, as well as University faculty, staff, and students.
